Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the Prism Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Prism.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Prism ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of service

Prism is a Chrome browser extension that provides a natural language interface for cryptocurrency transactions. Prism:

• Parses your text or voice instructions into structured transaction data using AI
• Presents parsed transactions for your review and confirmation
• Submits confirmed transactions to your connected wallet (MetaMask, Phantom) for signing
• Provides swap quotes from third-party DEX aggregators
• Displays portfolio balances from public blockchain data

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Prism. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

Prism is not available to residents of jurisdictions where cryptocurrency transactions are prohibited by law. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws of your jurisdiction.

4. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All transactions you confirm and sign through Prism
• Verifying transaction details (recipient address, amount, chain) before confirming
• The security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrases
• Ensuring you have sufficient funds including gas fees
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Any tax obligations arising from your cryptocurrency transactions

5. Financial risk disclaimer

Cryptocurrency transactions are:

• Irreversible — once confirmed on-chain, transactions cannot be undone
• Volatile — cryptocurrency values can change rapidly
• Risk-bearing — you may lose some or all of your funds

Prism provides no financial advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. Always verify transaction details carefully before confirming.

6. AI-generated content

Prism uses AI (Groq) to parse your natural language instructions. While we strive for accuracy, AI parsing may occasionally produce incorrect results. You must always review the parsed transaction card carefully before confirming any transaction. We are not liable for losses arising from incorrectly parsed instructions that you confirmed without review.

7. Subscription and billing (Managed plan)

The Prism Managed plan is billed at $5 USD per month. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your Lemon Squeezy account
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Prism to:

• Conduct transactions that violate applicable laws or regulations
• Launder money or finance illegal activities
• Attempt to bypass, hack, or abuse our API rate limits
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service
• Share your managed plan license key with others beyond the allowed device limit
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service

9. Third-party services

Prism integrates with third-party services including Groq, MetaMask, Phantom, and 1inch. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or accuracy of any third-party service.

10. Intellectual property

Prism and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF FUNDS, DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prism and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
